GAS TARIFF
COMMITTEE RECOMMENDS REDUCTION The Gas Committee of the City Council retorts that it has given consideration to the matter of a further revision of the gas tariff as affecting large consumers. The pre-
Consumptions of over 300,000 cubic feet to remain as at present, i.e., 6s for the first 300,000 cubic feet per month and 4s 6d for all consumptions in excess of that figure. “ It is estimated that -the loss of revenue. consequent upon these reductions will be £250 a year, but the department is able to stand this reduction of revenue in the meantime,” the report states.
