WALTZING MOUSE SECURED ILLUSTRATES MENDELIAN PRIKCIPLES Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, November 27. The latest addition to the London Zoo is a waltzing mouse. The strain is rare in Britain, as they have to be selectively bred and are delicate. Waltzing mice have a habit of interrupting whatever they _ are dping several times a day to spin rouncPfor many seconds on end. The condition is stated to be due to some unknown defect in the anatomy, whick-has been found to be inherited, according to Mendelian laws. As a recessive character and as a zoological curiosity illustrative of Mendelian principles the specimen has been accepted by the Zoo authorities.
