PLUTUS WINS BK HAWHCAP TRACK MAIN FAST LAME CMWD AT F«BWWY Favoured with really summer weather, there was almost a record attendance at Forbury Park this afternoon, when the second day or tne spring meeting was held. Two Furlongs.—Adverse just in front of Irish Aggie and Norham Lady racing together, with Policy and Master Potts, also together, just in front of Loyal Pat. There was no change in the next lap, and they entered the last circuit in the same order. Eight Furlongs.—Adverse _was_ a length clear of Irish Aggie, with Norham Lady next, and Loyal Pat moving up. Horae Turn.—Adverse just ;n front of Policy and Loyal Pat, with Cruiser moving up fast wide out. Finish.—Loyal Pat took charge at the distance, and just stayed on long enough to beat Cruiser, who put in a fine run, hy a head. When the field settled down Sterling Lady took charge, and led Casanova and Plutus. Half a mile from homo Renown’s Best ran to the front and Plutus went back to fifth place. Renown’s Best was first into the straight, but Plutus came with a strong run, and in a great finish beat her by a short half-length, Southern Smile a length away third. Casanova was fourth.
