Allegations by poultry farmers that a low-flying bomber stopped hens from laying and caused many to moult and chickens to die led to a court martial of Pilot-officer Denis Bamber. A Hampshire poultry woman is claiming £3OO from the Air Ministry to compensate her for the reduced egg output. The court martial has been adjourned.
