In the House of Commons in answer to a question the Colonial Secretary said some further outrages occurred in Palestine. Additional measures for dealing with certain classes of crime were now in operation, and military courts had been set up. It is reported that General Sir Arthur Wauchope, returning from leave in England, arrived at Jerusalem by air. He was met by the general officer commanding the British forces and the chief secretary.
