Keenan, £ll3s Gel, balance owing; Butterfields Ltd; v. B. J. B. Stanley, £4 2s, balance owing; A. J. Allen Ltd. y. C. M'Lean, £1 7s 6d, balance owing; Commissioner of Taxes v. John Morris Charles Loop, 15s 9d; Ascot Ltd. y. W. Gillan, 13s 9d, balance owing. CLAIM FOR DAMAGES. James Harris, who was represented by Mr J. M. Paterson, proceeded against Herman Sonntag, claiming £3, the amount of damage alleged rio bo done to 200 cabbage and cauliflower

plants by cattle owned by the defendant, who conducted his own case. Evidence was given by George Frederick Johnson and Andrew Anthony Paterson, after -which the magistrate gave judgment for the amount claimed, with costs.
