SUNDAY SERVICES

At First Church, to-morrow the Rev. W. Allen. Stevely’s subjects will be, in the morning, ‘ Voices of Silence,’ and in the evening, ‘ King of Kings.’ The evening music will include the solo, ‘ Thou Shalt Bring Them In,’ and the anthem, ‘ O for a Closer Walk With God!’ Dr Galway will be at the organ. Mr Harold Turner, M.A., will conduct both services in Knox Church tomorrow. In the evening his subject will be ‘ Predestination in Modern Dress.’ . ■ At St. Stephen’s Presbyterian Church the preacher will be the Rev. Thomas Miller, whose subject in the morning service will bo ‘ Ready for the End,’ and his subject in the evening ‘ Your Helper in All Trouble.’ At the Maori Hill Presbyterian Church there will be to-morrow morning a parade of the Columba Company of Girl Guides. The Rev. A. C. W, Standage will conduct both services, the evening subject being ‘ Sinning Against the Light.’ The Rev. C. Hi Olds will conduct the evening service at Trinity Methodist Church to-morrow., his subject being ‘ The Christian Principle of Self-denial.’ The anthem will be c Rejoice Greatly. The Rev. W. J. Henderson will conduct the morning service. At Glenavon Mr W. Dickinson will preach in the morning, and Missioner D. 1. Robertson in the evening, his subject being ‘ What Lack I Yet?’ Mr Olds will preach at Woodhaugh in the morning. Cargill' Road services will be conducted by rev. Thos. Skuse, of St. Kilda, at 11 a.m., and Rev. H. C. Orchard 6.30 p.m. The choir will render the anthem ‘ Incline Thine Ear,’ the soloist being Mr N. Orchard. Mrs F. Harman will sing the solo ‘ Stranger of Galilee.’ ' The services at the Hanover Street Baptist Church will be conducted by the Rev. J. Even Simpson. E. Reynolds will be tho speaker at the Spiritualist Church, Radiant Hall. His subject will be All the World’s a Stage, and Each Man in His Time Plays Many Parts.’ A lady medium will give clairvoyant messages. On Mondav at 8 o’clock the Healing Centre will meet. . At the Greater World Christian Spiritual Mission the service will be takenby the Rev. G. Brooks, her subject being the third of the series ‘ There is No Death,’ ‘ I Live,’ with personal experiences. Clairvoyance will follow. The Sudan United Mission will observe its annual Day of Prayer on Tuesday. 16th inst.. when meetings will bo held in First Church Hall, at 2.45 and 7.30 p.m. Mr and Mrs W. R. Fleming. from Nigeria, will be present and address the meetings.
