LAST DANCE OF SEASON At the main Town Hall next Wednesday the Utopia Club will stage its final dance for the season, and every effort is being made to make this function one of the brightest events of the year. Dancing enthusiasts and spectators will have the opportunity of selecting the six girls’ to appear on the stage of the Empire Theatre, where the audience will select u Miss Otago of 1937.” All attending the dance will be issued with a voting coupon at the door, and when the semi-finalists are paraded at 9.15 patrons are asked to vote for six girls. The votes will be counted over during the evening by a committee, and the results will be announced before the conclusion of the dance. Bob Shannon and his Savonia Dance Band have been especially engaged to provide the music, and novelty hats and Coronation badges will he distributed at the door.
