At the Worcester Chess Congress Mr K. S. Tinsley, chess correspondent of ‘ The Times,’ collapsed and died before medical aid could be summoned on the morning of the last day’s play on September 11. Mr Tinsley had, a world-wide reputation as a chess journalist, and his father was also a player of repute.
