GOODWILL VISIT
MISSION OF NEW SOUTH WALES FARMERS [Per United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, November 12. _ On the concluding stage of their three weeks’ tour of tho North Island, the party of 34. Australian dairy', farmers, representing the farmers of New South Wales on a goodwill mission to New Zealand, reached Auckland to-day from. Te Aroha. “ We cannot speak too highly of the hospitality extended to us everywhere w© have been by the local authorities, the Farmers’ Unions, _ farmers, and others individually,” said the Hon. M. P. Dunlop, M.L.C. “ Even tho weather has conspired to add to the success of the tour, and we welcome equally with New Zealand farmers the breaking of the dry spell.” The bonds of co-operation between the farmers of New South Wales and of New Zealand would bo cemented by the friendships made by members of the party, Mr Dunlop added. The party will visit the Farmers’ Freezing Company’s stores and grading floor at the King’s wharf to-morrow. Sunday will bo occupied with sightseeing trips, and on Monday the East Tamaki Dairy Company’s factory and the Challenge phosphate works will be inspected. The party will leave on its return to Australia by tho Aorangi on Tuesday.
