Time, 59 3HGTIG ON THE RACING [By St. Clair.] Sunny Blonde was made a better favourite than either Cottingham or Peacock for the Suburban Handicap, and led Drink-up and The Surgeon until well into the straight. Then Nottingham ran up, and won easily by two lengths from Drink-up, who beat The Surgeon a length. Grampian was next. •#* - * Janet Gaynor and Lord Nuffield carried heavy wagering in the Seymour Handicap. Janet Gaynor jumped out very smartly and quickly established a lead of three lengths, which she maintained throughout, winning easily from Fog Peak, who beat Norseman a head, ■with Haerepo another head away fourth. WORLD'S CHAMPION TROTTER fiREYHWND'S VISIT TO NEW ZEALAND [Per United Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, November 13. _ The American horse Greyhound will come to New Zealand for the interdominion trotting championship contests at Addington at Easter, and will give five speed exhibitions. A cablegram to that effect was received in Christchurch this morning from Mr Robert A. Smith, of Los Angeles, who has been responsible for the possible visit of the world’s champion trotter. Whether the committee in charge of the interdominion championship meeting will agree tio give the amount required by the owner of Greyhound to make the trip has not ben determined. Provided satisfactory arrangements are made two horses will leave America for New Zealand in December.
