A cablegram to that effect was received in Christchurch this morning from Mr Robert A. Smith, of Los Angeles, who has been responsible for the possible visit of the world’s champion trotter. Whether the committee in charge of the interdominion championship meeting will agree tio give the amount required by the owner of Greyhound to make the trip has not ben determined.
