(Received November 13, at 11.40 a.m.) The Washington correspondent of tho ‘ New York Times ’ says it is believed that the project to lease six' over-age destroyers to Brazil has been cancelled in consequence of the coup, otherwise the United States is adopting a strict hands-off policy. [A previous message stated: —The newspapers indicate that a contract for leasing six over-age warships from the United States to Brazil was signed, despite an Argentine protest.]
