Mr J, Dixon (manager), in extending greetings from the members of the staff to Mr Begg, said everyone was pleased to see him back in good health, and they trusted that the trip would be a great benefit to himself and the firm. Mr Wray Wilson (manager of the Invercargill branch) also extended a welcome to Mr Begg. Mr Begg thanked the members of the staff for their loyalty during his absence. An interesting talk of his travels was given by Mr Begg, who said that New Zealand was held in very high esteem throughout the world. Mr J. Hastie, on behalf of the staff, thanked Mr Begg for his talk. A -first-class musical programme had been arranged by Mr J. Dixon, and was very much enjoyed.
