WEEK OF INSTRUCTION In co-operation with tho national “ Learn to Swim ” campaign, the Otago Swimming Centre will this year conduct its annual “ Learn to Swim Week ’’ from November 15 to November 20. “ Learn to Swim ” weeks were , first instituted by tho Otago Centre, which, for many years past, has set ; aside a special week at the commencement of each season entirely for instruction of those unable to swim. All tuition is carried out voluntarily by ; competent instructors drawn from the ■ various clubs, and it is evidence of the value of this movement that since its ’ inception some hundreds of persons of all ages have been taught the fundamentals of swimming, and in conse--1 quence have now acquired a fair de- . greo of competence.
