(Received November 6, at 11.30 a.m.)l ■ The Colonial Secretary received with' deep regret a telegram from the High’ Commissioner for the Malay States reporting the death of the Regent, of Kedah. Mr Ormsby-Gore has requested the High Commissioner to express his sympathy with the relatives and the State Council.
