MONTAGUE SHOW
SEASON NEARING END The Dunedin season of the Montague Show will come to_ an end tomorrow night. The English company has made itself very popular here with, its refreshing, smart, and spectacularly staged entertainment and again _ last night a big audience heartily enjoyed three hours of revelry, song and dance. George Doonan and his supporting comedy troupe were in the best of form, the Darmora Girls gave several highly artistic ensemble numbers, the Dawn Sisters rollicked through their eccentric dance numbers, the Blenders delighted with their harmonising, and all the other artists contributed to_ a bill that maintained a consistently high standard. The mountng and_ lighting were distinctive, the frocking in lavish style and the orchestral worth precise and helpful to the performers. Revue of the type presented by the Montague Show makes most peasant entertainment.
