LYNCH BEATS KANE LONDON, October 14. In a bout for the British European fly-weight championship Benny Lynch, the holder, knocked out Peter Kane in the thirteenth round. Lynch caught Kane napping and sent him down twice. Subsequently it was a magnificent battle. Kane was severely punished in the later rounds, and was down for seven in the thirteenth before a rain of blows completed his first defeat for three years.
