FLOWER SHOW

RAILWAY GARDENING CLUB The annual spring flower show of the Railway Gardening Club was held yesterday, there being a fair all-round entry, with some excellent quality blooms among the cut flowers. The daffodil section was not well patronised, but the display of ..oiyauthus was excellent, both as regards the quality and quantity of the entries. Auriculas, anemones, and hyacinths also made a pleasing show, while some of the work in the decorative section was very attractive. Mrs A. Fox gained most points in the amateur section for not fewer than four varieties of cut flowers, and thus took the lead for the Cadbury, Fry, Hudson Cup ; which is awarded to the competitor gaming most points oyer the four shows held by the club during the year. Mr J. E. Milburn, the secretary of the club, took the cup awarded for the most points in the daffodil section. The following is the prize list:— CUT FLOWERS. ■ Judge; Mr E. A, Hamel. OPEN CLASS.
