SHAREBROKER’S DEATH
GAS TURNED ON IN OFFICE Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, October 6. John A. Sweetman, aged 71, a partner in the stockbroking firm of Garvin G. Brown and Co., Melbourne, was found dead in his office to-day, with a gas jet turned on. Sweetman recently suffered a nervous breakdown. The Stock Exchange this morning adjourned for five minutes as a mark of respect.
