TE PUKE CLUB'S ENTERTAHiMENT A large gathering attended the concert given by the Oamaru Te Puke, Girl Guides in St. Luke’s Hall recently. The entertainment was well conceived and a high standard of per-; formance throughout ensured a.suecess--ful function. The programme, under the control of Miss C. Herron (captain), comprised pianoforte .solos by Valerie Hayes and Barbara Douglas,' a tap dance by Zoe Hayes, a tap duo by Barbara Douglas" and Joan Galloway, flag drill by the senior squad, recitation by Shirley Cameron, vocal duet by Dorothy Fagan and June Was-, sell, play entitled / My Creed,’ sketch entitled ‘ First Aid and Then,’ an item by the Guide Choir, company drill, a playette, ‘ Poor a recitation by Wendv Patterson, and a camp fir# scene by the Te Puke Qompany.
