The Italian, salvage ship Airplane has brought up most of the copper forming the cargo of the Elder Dempster liner Cariboo, which sank near East London, South Africa, in 1928, and has now begun work on other wrecks in Table Bay. She found a wreck, believed to bo that of a Dutch East Indiaman, containing tin, and has brought to the surface pieces of Delft china and some of the Indiaman’s guns,
