51-ROUND DUEL
FOUGHT WITH CAVALRY SABRES BOTH COMBATANTS WOUNDED Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright BUDAPEST, August 23. (Received August 24, a/t 10.15 a.m.) What is believed to be the longest duel in history was fought by Chief Engineer Zboropjaj and Dr Prueler, a fencing expert. The duel lasted two and a-half hours. They used light cavalry sabres. Both were wounded early in the combat, and again in the twelfth round, when their seconds wanted to stop tho fight, which continued until the fifty-first round, when it was declared ended owing to the exhaustion of thes duellists.
