SCOTTISH SOCIETY SOCIAL

The monthly social and dance of the Scottish Society was held on Saturday evening in the Victoria Hall, a largo gathering of members and friends being present. Past-president Eric M'Kenzie was piped to the platform and occupied the chair for the evening: Items were given by Miss Lilly Shrimpton, Miss Gladys .Murray, Airs Turner, and Airs Gregg; Highland dances by Miss Rita Warren, Mavis Biessol, Betty Brown, and Jessie Brown; and a special item by Air Alt’. Pettitt. Dance music was provided by Mr Gamble and Air Aif. Pettitt. Supper was served by the Ladies’ Social Committee under Mrs Hill. The AI.C.s were Alcssrs J. Ramsay and G. MacCrae.
