HANDICAP TOURNAMENT At the amateur billiards tournament Barnett was unable to play his game against N. Peacock, the latter winning by default. A large crow,, witnessed A. Vidal (scr) defeat G. Pearce (rec. 80). who did not produce his previous form. Vidal quickly reduced his leeway, and, favoured by the run of the balls, emerged victor, tho final scores being A. Vidal 300. G. Pearce 230. The winner finished with the excellent average of eight points per visit. To-night N. Peacock (scr) will meet E. Bringans (rec. 50) at tho Carlton, and a close game should ensue. On Thursday evening D. Vidal (scr) will play A. Richardson (rec. 150) at tho Olympia.
