(Received July 24, at 11 a.m.) The All-Australian Trade Union Congress adopted what is regarded as practically the doctrines of the Communist Party in relation to international hostilities, By 79 votes to 48 it rejected a proposal to reaffirm the 1935 resolution against participation in overseas wars in favour of a policy of organising the masses against war and supporting the principle of collective security through the League of Nations.
