THE BOX KING
Two wooden boxes are placed a suitable distance apart. The two players stand one on each of these with a pole, at the end of which is tied a solid bundle of rags, so that the end of the pole is not hard. And now the aim is to knock tho other player off his box. Beware of
getting too excited, and hitting with the poles, neither may the players aim at one another’s faces. When American scouts play this game it, is very exciting. Instead of rags, the end of the pole is padded with a boxing glove, and tho players have to balance on tall barrels, which do not provide a very large surface to stand on. The first one to touch the ground has lost. The other one challenges a new opponent, and the last scout to remain standing on his box is box king.
