Rumbere, who was well ahead on points, could hardly stand up for tho final round, and the referee awarded the match to Blomfield. In the most thrilling hout witnessed at Palmerston North for years, Floyd Marshall drew with Chief Littlo Wolf, each securing a fall. Marshall secured his in tho fourth a body press following a series of chanceries with the knee bumped in for good measure and two dumps. Chief Little Wolf equalised in the seventh round with an Indian deatblock applied with dramatic suddenness.
