DIRECT TAXATION !H BRITAIN SUMMARY OF EXCHEQUER RETURNS (British Official Wireless.) Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright RUGBY, June 29. The Exchequer returns show that the total ordinary revenue for the current financial year to date amounts to £133,.347,323, compared with £121,736,656 last year. . All the items of direct increased yields. Customs and Excise collected amounted to £79,539,000, as against £73,519,000 at the corresponding date, last year. The total ordinary expenditure to the end of last week was £199,117,221, compared with £190,703,929 last year.
