SEAPLANE FORCED DOWN
STRUCK IY WATERSPOUT AIRMEN AND MACHINE RESCUED. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, June 30. Two men, who were flying a seaplane from the south coast town of Bateman’s Bay to Sydney, were forced down by a waterspout, which rose to a height of 1,500 ft off Port Hacking. The.airmen were drifting toward the rocks when their plight was noticed, and they were rescued along with their machine, the engines of which had failed.
