The accused appeared ia the Magistrate’s Court on Thursday] last on two charges, one of aiding in' the performing of an illegal operation and the other of counselling a similar offence. She pleaded not guilty, ami was committed for trial at the next criminal sessions of the Supreme Court, ( bail being refused.
