Among other businessmen mentioned was Mr A. P. Sloan, president of General Motors Corporation, Mr J. J. Ras. kob. of General Motors Corporation, Mr T. W. Lamont, a partner in Mor. gan’s Bank, and several members of th# Dupont family. '■? The Treasury Department estimated that 4,115 persons used the “ holding company ” device and avoided payment of 8,327”,000 dollars in taxes.
