MR NASH ON TOUR

(Received June 26, at 11.43 a.m.) In response to an invitation from respective Governments, Mr Nash will go to the Continent by air on June 27. He will visit Copenhagen, Amsterdam, and Paris to discuss trade matters, returning on July 1. Mr Nash hopes before going to Canada oh July 3 to reach a measure of finality with the Civil, Air, and Shipping Committees, whose announcements can be expected next week-end. To-day Mr Nash held a continuous conference with Gorman trade representatives who flew especially from Berlin in connection with trad© discussions. Mr Nash is optimistic over tho outcome of these talks. While in Canada h© will resume the trade discussions begun in 1936. Later he will visit Washington. The other members of the New Zealand delegation sail on the Mataroa on July 9. Mr Nash will join them at Panama on July 23, and tho party will arrive in Auckland on August 12.
