COMMUNITY "SING"

Another successful community sing was held in the Strand Theatre at midday, when a capacity house sang popular choruses. The collection is expected to total the satisfactory sum of £l9. Mr H. P. Desmoulins again wielded the baton and led the singing, with Mr Alf. Pettitt at the piano. Mr J. Himburg and Mr H. Marsden were capable assistants, the latter’s “ cheerios ” again being a feature of the “ sing.”
