JAPANESE PROPOSAL Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright TOKIO, June 24. (Received June 25, at 11 a.m.) The Cotton Spinners’ Association at Osaka decided to permit a number ot companies to divert idle spindles (sealed under the agreement curtailing the output) to the production of staple fibre yarn, which hitherto has been prohibited. Such spindles are estimated at 3,000,000, and the indications are that half of these will be diverted _ in the meantime.
