After eight members of the Nationalist Party had been imprisoned for terms ranging from six to 10 years for conspiring to overthrow the United States Government in Puerto Rico, four unidentified men fired a dozen shots at Judge Cooper. The shooting was wild, and the judge was not injured. An investigation throughout the island has been begun.
