REDUCTION IN CHARGES CONTEMPLATED {British Official Wireless.! Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright RUGBY, June 7. The Government has issued an outline of the main proposals now under discussion with local authorities and others for securing, reorganisation of electricity distribution, The proposals follow upon the report of the M'Gowau Committee. It is suggested that the Electricity Commissioners bo charged with tho duty of reviewing all undertakings in each distribution district and preparing a scheme, after consultation with those concerned, for the consolidation of undertakings therein into a group or groups with a view to reducing charges to consumers.
