PEACE SETTLEMENT
ITALY DISAPPOINTED AT PROGRESS Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright ROME, May 13. (Received May 14, at 12.15 p.m.) Italy’s willingness to join a general peace settlement and her regret at the delay in a rapprochement with Britain was expressed by Count Ciano in the Chamber of Deputies. Count Ciano deplored “ the newspaper campaign against Italy, especially against the heroism of the Italian volunteers in Spain.”
