NEW ZEALAND MINISTERS
MR SAVAGE NEARING ENGLAND WILL BE MET BY MR NASH Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, May 3. (Received May 4, at 11 a.m.) Interviewed aboard the Arawa, Mr Savage, who will arrive at Southampton on May 4, declared that in the substitution of right for might as the guiding principle of the; nations lay the only real hope of peace' and security. He said he believed firmly that the world would never have peace until the economical and political relations between the nations and their peoples were based to a greater extent on the principles of right and justice. Discussing the Imperial Conference, Mr Savage said New Zealand recognised that she played only a small part in the affairs of the Empire, but nevertheless she was imbued with a sense of her responsibility in discussing the important subjects set down on the agenda. Mr Nash will return by air from Russia to-night. He will go to Southampton with Mr Jordan to meet Mr Savage. It is understood that Mr Nash is anxious to discuss with Mr Savage the recent Press attacks on the New Zealand Government.
