An Order in Council ousts Mr Chant, the Minister of Agriculture, Mr Chant’s constituency, Melrose, demands the executive to consider a demand for Mr Aberhart’s resignation. [A recent message stated:—Mr W. N. Chant, Minister of Agriculture, has refused Mr Aberhart’s request that he should resign. The Premier stated that more aggressiveness and efficiency were needed in the department. Mr Chant, in a letter, declared that responsibility to his electorate forbade his resignation.] !
