BURNING OFF BASKET
Amateur gardeners will appreciate the value of this simple, home-made incinerator for burning cuttings, hedge and lawn clippings, falling leaves, and odds and ends of rubbish that make such a litter and nuisance around the, home. i Buy a piece of strong wire netting 36in wide by 56in long, and four iron rods. Bend the wire round, and join the ends firmly together, to form a tunnel or tube. Trim all ends carefully, drive the rods securely into the ground in an out-of-the-way corner, adjusting them nicely so that the basket will-fit in neatly, and have the necessary support. For added strength a piece of galvanised wire can be carefully laced around the base and top.
