BARLEY STOCKS DAMAGED

FIRE IN GRAIN STORE [Pee United Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, April 30. Barley Stocks, housed in a detached grain store on tho premises of the Canterbury Seed Company Ltd. at Ueatncote were damaged by fire in the eariy hours of this morning. The fire was confined to the store, and no damage was done to the adjoining inalthouse kiln, or the other buildings. The store and stock affected by the fire were insured with the Queensland Insurance Co. Ltd. for £45,000. There was no cessation, in the company’s working, orders being delivered to customers as usual.
