LABOUR RETURNS TO POWER AN OVERWHELMING MAJORITY. Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright . BRISBANE, April 25. The elections for the Greater Brisbane Council on Saturday, which created interest throughout the State as a possible pointer to the forthcoming Stato elections, resulted in Labour being returned with an overwhelming .majority, possibly equal to its former representation of 13 seats to 7. Official Labour so far has 12 seats and the Citizens’ Municipal Party has 7.
