(Received April 23, at 1.30 p.m.) BagaKkametsi, the divorced wife of Tshefedi, pleaded guilty in the District Commissioner’s Court at Serowe to a charge of practising witchcraft. Three natives, allegedly witch doctors, also pleaded guiltyf Bagahkametsi was accused _ of attempting to bewitch and injure th© queen mother, Semane, because she thought Semane was attempting to alienate Tshekedi’a affections from her. . ~ Evidence was given that Bagapkametsi and the witch doctors arranged to put love philtres in Tshekedi’s tea.
