THE REPLACEMENT RULE [Per United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, April 21. The Control Board of the Auckland Football Association considered at tonight’s meeting the New Zealand Association’s decision to allow the replacement of injured players, which is contrary to the laws of the gaipc. It was pointed out that the New Zealand body is affiliated to the Football Association, which allows replacements only in friendly or charity matches. Members said they felt that the alteration was dangerous, and it was agreed to play the rule under protest until a decision was received from England.
