RADIO CHURCH OF THE HELPING HAND.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —I should like to express my joy, through, the Press, on Sunday eveuing last, when I looked round and saw the vast crowd in the Town Hall. I realised the great work that is going on and all the labour of love it has entailed amongst the Rev. L. B. Neale’s devoted workers. A word on behalf of' liie Company Bay Health Camp. I suggest it is well worth a2s bus drive down. One can then see for one’s self what a beautiful building, inside and out, it is, and then think of the short time it has taken to accomplish it. Regarding the Helping Hand, I wondered, as I looked at the mass of people, how many when they took their small box for Id each week kept up their contributions. If tho public only realised what it really meant to the Central Mission for the boxes to be brought in, say, as regularly as one would pay one’s rent, it should give all the staff a far happier outlook as far as the debt of the wonderful home is concerned. _ I myself collected 60 orders for radio boxes, and I feel if those persons sent in the 60 regularly it would gladden the heart of the Rev.' L. Neale, who has done such wonderful work in starting the Radio Church of the Helping Hand. I can speak for a fact of the good work of the Helping Hand and I sincerely hope this letter will be the means of our kind friends sending in the boxes when due.—l am, etc., April 20. R. M. Murrell.
