DUNEDIN CLUB At* a meeting, of ... tho Dunedin Coursing Club Mr D. Garside occupied the chair. The Secretary reported that he had secured 30 strong hares from Mr D, Bell, of Ashburton, and tho club had now 40 strong hares on the. plumpton. After discussion it was decided that all hares be boxed and then liberated and driven through the escapes at the home. It was also unanimously decided not to run a meeting unless the ground was in good order and the hares strong and healthy. It was agreed to add two new members to the committee, and Mr Linnane and Mr Don Harwood were elected. Mr A. L; Mitchell was appointed judge for the Boyle Memorial Stake, to .be run in June, and Mr J. Marks was elected slipper- for the season. The thanks of the club were expressed to the secretary (Mr R. Mariks) for the work he had done since taking office; also to Mrs A. Brown and Mr B. Whittington for assistance given to the secretary. Prospects for the 1937 season were reported to bo very bright.
