LORD CONWAY ' (British Official Wireless.)" Press Association —By Telegraph —Copyright RUGBY, April 20. (Received April 21, at noon.) The death is announced of Lord Conway of Allington; aged 81. [ln 1892 Lord Conway traversed the Alps from end to end, and in 1898 explored and surveyed the Bolivian Andes. He was Slade,Professor of Pine Arts, Cambridge, from 1901 to 1904, and president of the Alpine Club from 1902 to 1904. He was a trustee of the Wallace Collection and Director-Gene-ral of the Imperial War Museum, 1917. He was the author of several books on art and alpine climbing.] CAPTAIN LAUTERBAOH Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, April 20. The death has occurred at Berlin of Captain Lauterbach, navigation officer of the Emden during the war, and later commander of the captured steamer Exeter, in which he successfully raided in the Indian Ocean. He was made prisoner, but escaped, and commanded the auxiliary cruiser Moewe in 1918.
