TOWN HALL DANCE
Amid the perfect surroundings of the Main Town Hall patrons of the weekly dances are assured of a wonderful evening. The undoubted success of this dance must go to the presence of two of Dunedin’s best dance bands, the Mayfair Band of nine players and the Savonia Band of eight players. Cooperating with both bands, Air Janies MacFarlane, the well-known radio vocalist, sings the songs of the moment and request numbers of the patrons. Carnival novelties of an original nature are supplied by the management, creating a happy atmosphere for the dance. Spectators are admitted to the circle at a small charge. The right of admission is strictly reserved.
