RIFLE SHOOTING
WEST TAIERI CLUB The West Taieri Defence Rifle Club fired the first shoot to count for the belt on Saturday afternoon. The conditions were 10 shots at 300, 500, and 600 yards. The weather was fine, with a varying right wind. Rifleman G. Wyllie secured the highest aggregate with a score of 48, 50,, 47—145 (ex 150). The match will be concluded next Saturday, when the belt will be presented to the winner. Scores:—
