Mr Carleton Beals, the noted author, has resigned as a member of the Trotsky Committee, because the committee is not conducting a truly senous investigation. M. Trotsky, in a fiery statement, said that this was an effort to prevent him unmasking the judicial crimes in Moscow. M, Trotsky, during the day s proceedings, admitted having lied concerning M. Lenin’s last testament. He added; “The commission should not consider me an angel.’’
